Stoa: Voiceover for a Unique Startup

One of the things I love most about voiceover is you’re brought on to be part of a company for a brief moment in time to help them bring their ideas to market. How you approach the piece—and what you do—matters to their success. You’re working with concepts and copy that have usually taken a very long time to get to where they are now, and they trust you to take their campaign across the finish line.
It’s exciting!
Last week I had the honor of doing voiceover for a new startup that is creating a marketplace for the buying and selling of AI hardware and GPUs (or, for us laypeople, powerful computer processors). Think of it like a stock exchange where companies that need access to computing power can easily purchase it from sellers.
Nothing like this exists, and I got to be part of its launch—very cool!
If you’re still confused about what they do, you won’t be after watching the brand film.
What I really loved about doing voiceover for this piece is not only does it feel inspirational, high-tech, and forward-thinking, it’s also accessible. Created by Breakpoint, the film is simple enough that anyone can understand the concept, even if they previously had no knowledge of how GPUs are bought and sold.
